Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading aluminum extrusions onto conveyors for processing, gathering materials for framing bundles, performing visual inspections for defects, assembling bundles, labeling packages for shipment, and maintaining a clean work area. All tasks must be completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Load aluminum extrusions onto conveyor for processing.
• Gather materials such as tape, paper, and banding to frame bundles.
• Perform visual inspections for burrs, scratches, dents, and other defects.
• Assemble bundles based on customer specifications and packing sheets.
• Label packages and prepare them for shipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Complete all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to work on feet for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Attention to detail.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with packing, forklift operation, production, and general labor.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leetonia, OH.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Leetonia,OH.
