1st Shift: 7am - 3pm

Job Description

Join our maintenance department as a Maintenance Scheduler, where you will play a vital role in maintenance and production scheduling/planning. This position involves working predominantly with our SAP system, and you will receive comprehensive training under the current scheduler until fully proficient!

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and improve the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling business flow process.
• Capture and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for equipment reliability.
• Enhance planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management, and job reporting systems.
• Plan maintenance work for repair/preventive, predictive/design-out activities on plant equipment.
• Coordinate labor needs for scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) work.
• Comply with and enforce all company safety standards and rules.
• Ensure proper operation of plant and equipment, and address necessary corrections.
• Manage daily work orders and maintain records for a two-year period.
• Develop and display daily maintenance plans for all departments.
• Compile KPIs and maintenance plans into daily and weekly reports.
• Maintain a master schedule of yearly required maintenance.
• Schedule maintenance work in alignment with production planning.
• Purchase parts, equipment, and services ahead of planned work.
• Write maintenance procedures to ensure defect-free work quality.
• Maintain updated preventative maintenance work orders and procedures.
• Track maintenance history, job records, and technical information accurately.
• Apply effective stores and parts management practices.
• Participate in projects and preventive maintenance as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SAP for maintenance and production scheduling is a must!
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of equipment reliability concepts and quality management methods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mansfield, OH.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mansfield,OH.
