As an OH Logistics Specialist, you will manage the execution of customer orders, ensuring timely coordination and scheduling of vehicle pickups and deliveries, while adhering to customer instructions and company policies.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule the pickup and delivery of customer vehicles, following precise customer instructions.
- Efficiently execute orders by linking multiple orders together.
- Oversee the completion of additional services such as vehicle detailing, titling, registration, and storage placement.
- Communicate promptly with staff, independent contractors, and pickup/delivery contacts through email, telephone, and CRM, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Update CRM activities and notes promptly, maintaining accurate data, including uploading photos and scanned documents.
- Create tasks and follow through to maintain accurate time-sensitive notes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable DOT regulations and laws.
- In the manager's absence, calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing the bid sheet to all independent contractors.
- Manage the storage vehicle facility, tracking vehicle numbers in and out, and verifying with VIN and order details.
- Check vehicles in and out by reviewing them for damage and taking inventory of items left inside.
- Move vehicles in and out of the lot, securing them upon arrival and staging them for pickup.
- Account for all vehicles on the lot, ensuring they are operational and communicating issues to headquarters for resolution.
- 6 months of customer service experience; inventory experience is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office Excel, data entry, and CRM experience; must score at least 37 WPM in typing tests.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in call centers, logistics, and scheduling coordination.
- 2+ years of logistics experience focused on inventory movement from origin to destination or related discipline.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and CRM skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced office environment, able to multi-task and communicate accurate information effectively.
- Enjoy working as part of a cooperative and considerate team.
Located in Marysville, OH, the work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers an opportunity to work with one of the fastest-growing fleet transport companies, with potential for growth across 11 different departments. The company is proudly women-owned.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
