Job Title: Machine Operator | $22-24 HR | 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 12 AM or 1 AM, with the possibility of overtime. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for 2-4 weeks. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Read and interpret basic work instructions, blueprints, or production documents.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and production standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues or improvements.

Essential Skills

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM / 1:00 AM).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with assembly, inspection, and using hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

Work in a nice, clean, and organized facility. While not temperature-controlled, heaters and fans are available for certain weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, OH.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
