General Laborer

We are seeking a diligent General Laborer to join our team for a 4-5 month contract with opportunities for overtime. The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime. This role involves various labor tasks including site clean-up, operating a telehandler for offloading trucks and moving materials, driving a water truck and small tractor, and performing minor carpentry work related to safety repairs and small projects.

• Perform site clean-up and ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Operate telehandler to offload trucks and move materials as needed.
• Drive water trucks and small tractors for various tasks.
• Conduct minor carpentry work, including safety repairs on handrails and building wood sign bases.
• Complete small form work projects as required.

• Experience in construction and general labor.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Forklift operation, particularly with an extendable boom forklift (telehandler).
• Carpentry skills, ideally at a 3rd-4th period apprentice level or equivalent.
• Experience with man lift equipment, including vertical man lift basket and extend a boom basket.

• Licensed forklift operator preferred; trainable competence if not licensed.
• Experience with tools such as skill saws, screw guns, tape measures, roto hammers, and grinders.
• Experience using a laser level is advantageous.

This is a Contract position based out of Newark, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
