Job Title: Line Leader - 1st shift - 20/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Line Leader to oversee operations on a pelletizing or grinding line. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, handling materials, and maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee line operations of pelletizers and grinders.
- Use forklifts to move materials within the facility.
- Assist in building boxes for material storage.
- Load material onto conveyor belts.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols across the facility.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in machine operation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Familiarity with inventory counting, shipping, receiving, palletizing, loading, and unloading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Leadership mentality with the willingness to speak up in group settings.
- Steel toe, bump cap, and ear protection usage required.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing facility with an attached warehouse area, comprising a total of 40-50 employees. This grinding/pelletizing facility handles industrial and unused plastics. Openings are on the first shift, starting from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, eventually transitioning to a 2-2-3 12-hour shift. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, bump caps, eye and ear protection, with jeans or long pants and a T-shirt.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pandora, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
