About the Role

We are seeking an experienced OSP Construction Manager to oversee daily field operations for a major fiber expansion initiative supporting a leading fiber provider. This program focuses on building underground fiber routes to new data centers, enabling next-generation connectivity and high-capacity infrastructure for enterprise clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on managing OSP crews and inspectors in the field.

Hard Requirement: Candidates must have prior experience managing OSP crews and inspectors for another telecom or utility provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, including drill counts, footage tracking, and crew performance.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and coordinate with local inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
• Report daily metrics and progress to internal stakeholders.
• Provide on-the-ground insights to support remote Project Managers driving this data center fiber initiative.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing OSP crews and inspectors for a telecom or utility provider.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic or utility construction practices, especially underground builds.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic Word skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multiple teams.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and traveling locally.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plain City, OH.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
