Join our team as a Test Engineer L1, where you will support Power Device Control, Entry, Body Electronics, and powertrain battery systems, with a specific focus on Trailer Control. You will apply engineering principles and leverage your experience to develop test plans and procedures, ensuring that design parts and components meet performance targets and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement test plans and procedures to assess the feasibility of design parts and components.
- Create data settings, test specifications, standards, and schedules.
- Prepare and set up test equipment for conducting moderately complex tests.
- Document and summarize test results and conclusions, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Analyze and interpret test results to predict performance and potential failures.
- Communicate test results clearly through written reports and formal presentations.
- Propose design changes and recommend countermeasures based on test analysis.
- Proficiency in test equipment, electrical engineering, and validation.
- Experience in developing and executing test procedures.
- Strong ability to set up tests, run tests, and write detailed reports.
- Over 5 years of experience in test engineering.
- Passion for outdoor activities and an understanding of towing.
- Preference for candidates with towing experience.
Work onsite in our engineering offices, where you will have the opportunity to test and develop new concepts on cutting-edge vehicles.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Raymond, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
