The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing business objectives and strategic initiatives by applying business acumen and organizational methodologies. This position involves coordinating with key stakeholders to systematically gather and align business requirements within an established framework. The responsibilities range from research and technical data gathering to project coordination, resource planning, and day-to-day business project coordination. The role also includes tracking performance against business and operational goals, enabling transparent reporting and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities- Execute and maintain systems for tracking performance against business and operational goals.
- Provide administrative oversight of enterprise template development and support for business training initiatives.
- Facilitate general meetings, with 70% of meetings with Research and Development executives and project owners, and 30% with engineering and other business staff.
- Develop and maintain calendars, visual communication tools, and templates to promote standardization and ensure clear communication of Business Planning Milestones.
- Engage management, technical, and product development leadership to collect Business Theme Requirements and organize within the NA Regional Business Framework.
- Aggregate quarterly Business results and share with top management to guide decision-making and inform Strategic Planning efforts.
- Support enterprise system for managing Business Portfolio.
- Assist other Business Planning Group members with analysis of data, summarizing information, and content sharing with Executive Stakeholders.
- Coordinate schedules, timing, and logistics for meetings with various parties, including ADC Executive Administrators, Human Resources, and Corporate Communications.
- Collaborate with Business Planning, HR, and External Business partners to facilitate Learning & Development programming for Executives, Business Theme Leaders, and regional planner network.
- Perform miscellaneous activities based on day-to-day job needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in engineering, business, communications, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in administrative support and project coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
- Experience in project coordination and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Project Management Tools, Collaboration, and AI Platforms.
- Business Operations Certification - Optional.
- PMI-CAPM Certification - Optional.
- Experience coordinating projects in a research or technical setting, preferably in an engineering function or administrative role.
- Experience with Microsoft products and project management software.
The role is based in the Auto Development Center, a large engineering complex with various initiatives related to product development in North America. The environment supports hands-on work with executive-level staff and offers opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Raymond, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
