Job Title: Machine Operator (2nd Shift) ($21-24/hr.)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machine operator to join our team on the 2nd shift, with hours from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM. This position requires flexibility for overtime as needed. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Read and interpret basic work instructions, blueprints, or production documents.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and production standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues or improvements.

Essential Skills

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM / 1:00 AM).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor and production tasks.
• Familiarity with assembly, inspection, and use of hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seville, OH.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
