Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team, specializing in installing and assembling equipment for work trucks. You will be responsible for tasks such as assembling tool boxes, bolting on truck boxes, installing mud flaps, and mounting crane holders and ramp holders. Additionally, you will install tail lights, read blueprints to install hydraulic equipment, perform testing and inspections, and handle necessary wiring.

• Install and assemble equipment such as beds, plows, and tool boxes on work trucks.
• Assemble and bolt on truck boxes.
• Install mud flaps, crane holders, and ramp holders.
• Install tail lights and perform wiring tasks.
• Read blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts.
• Perform testing and inspections on all installed components.

• At least 2 years of mechanical aptitude in fields such as auto mechanics, diesel mechanics, or related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints or work instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand, power, and air tools.
• Ownership of basic hand tools including sockets and SAE socket sets.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possession of steel or composite toe shoes.

• Experience with 12V wiring is a plus.

This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire role with a day shift from 7 AM to 4 PM. Opportunities are available for both heavy-duty and light-duty positions. The work environment is similar to a mechanic bay, which can be hot in summer and cold in winter. Candidates should be prepared for these conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sharonville, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
