Job Title: Low Voltage Technician, $20/hr. - $25/hr.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and career-minded low voltage technicians to join our team. This role involves working in light commercial settings from Monday to Friday, with 40-45 hour work weeks, typically from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Responsibilities include running CAT 6 cabling, installing and testing sound systems, and performing terminations and calibrations. Occasionally, work may require being in enclosed spaces like attics. A clean driving record is essential, and while you may not need to drive initially, it's required for future considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Run CAT 6 cabling in light commercial settings.
  • Install and test sound systems.
  • Perform terminations and calibrate equipment.
  • Build out and configure equipment racks.
  • Work in enclosed spaces, such as attics, when necessary.
  • Report to the shop at 7:30 am, travel to job sites, and return to the shop after work is completed.

Essential Skills

  • General labor skills.
  • Experience in pulling wire and low voltage electrical work.
  • Knowledge of data cables, audio, and video systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Networking and programming skills are a significant advantage.
  • A construction experience is beneficial.
  • Must be a self-starter and problem solver.
  • Comfortable working at heights.

Work Environment

Work involves light commercial networking and wiring for boardrooms and restaurants. You will travel within an hour radius of Toledo, OH, with occasional trips to Devil's Lake, MI, and the Port Clinton area. Our team consists of 16 technicians, with crews of 2 on average per job. Overnight stays are rare and not mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
