Job Description
As a Training Specialist, you will maintain records of training activities and needs, monitor program effectiveness, and recommend improvements. You will track and report on employee participation or assessment results, coordinate materials and facilities for training sessions, and assist employees in using the Learning Management System. You may also conduct needs assessments, focus groups, or employee interviews to identify areas for improvement, and provide ongoing coordination and support for the company's Leadership Development and Talent Management Programs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain training records and identify training needs.
- Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Track and report on employee participation and assessment results.
- Coordinate materials and facilities for training sessions, including handouts, supplies, technology, and virtual or physical conference rooms.
- Assist employees in using the Learning Management System.
- Conduct needs assessments, focus groups, or employee interviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing coordination and support for the company's Leadership Development and Talent Management Programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Experience in training development and instruction.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems.
- Ability to coordinate, facilitate, and assess employee training programs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel data entry.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to listen effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to show good judgment at all times.

Work Environment
Work within a warehouse environment. The shifts include a base rate of $24/hr with additional pay of $3/hr for weekend days (Friday to Sunday, 5am - 5:30pm).
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Jefferson, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
