Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Helper to support facility upkeep and general maintenance operations at our Wooster location. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, comfortable using hand and power tools, and willing to assist with a variety of maintenance, janitorial, and light repair tasks to keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Paint offices, walls, and other facility areas as needed.
- Hang pictures, signage, bulletin boards, and fixtures.
- Replace light bulbs and assist with basic lighting maintenance.
- Complete janitorial duties including taking out trash and recycling, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors, and cleaning common areas, restrooms, and offices.
- Assist maintenance team with minor repairs and facility projects.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Good with hand and power tools.
- Prior maintenance/handyman/janitorial experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and general labor tasks.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, well-lit shop environment that is not temperature controlled. Engage in a hands-on role that involves using various tools and performing diverse maintenance tasks.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $39520.00/hr.
