Job Title: Manufacturing Associate (1st and 3rd Shift) ($20/hr.)
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Associate where you will perform a variety of tasks on the production floor. You will be responsible for operating industrial sewing equipment and machinery to cut tarps to the appropriate size. Additionally, you will set up and make necessary changes to machinery between runs while ensuring all duties are completed safely and efficiently. Quality checks on finished products will be conducted to inspect color, size, and defects. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Must be comfortable working 12 hour shifts. (4 on, 4 off schedule)
Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee multiple production lines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Perform quality checks on finished products, inspecting color, size, measurements, and defects.
Essential Skills
- Comfortable working on feet in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use hand and power tools.
- Experience in machine operation and general production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Comfortable performing basic tasks on a computer.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform basic shop math.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
