Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This full-time position offers multiple shifts and involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems to support production goals. Your expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be crucial for ensuring equipment uptime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, tools, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
  • Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist with spare parts inventory and request supplies as needed.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and provide effective troubleshooting.
  • Support facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and structural repairs.
Essential Skills
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Proficiency with electrical systems, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Skilled in the safe operation of hand and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or on-call when needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience using manual machine shop tools for fabrication and repair.

Work Environment

The facility is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. Various shifts are available, including weekday shifts, night shifts with a shift differential, and weekend shifts offering a unique work schedule where you work 36 hours but get paid for 40. The role involves working in environments with noise, dust, and varying temperatures, and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and use of hands.

This is a Contract position based out of Claremore, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
