Cnc Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can interpret and apply customer specifications, enter these specifications into CNC machines, and set up tooling for the machine. The ideal candidate will monitor the operation of the machines, adhere to 5S principles in the work area, and perform tasks while following all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply customer specifications.
• Enter specifications into CNC machines.
• Set up tooling for the machine.
• Monitor machine operations.
• Follow 5S principles in the work area.
• Perform tasks while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in CNC lathe and mill operations.
• CNC programming skills.
• Experience with machining and micrometre use.
• Ability to set up, operate, and edit programs for CNC machines.
• Above average math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle complex machines and tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate controlled with various shift options available, including weekday, night, and weekend shifts. The weekend shift offers a unique opportunity to work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Claremore, OK.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
