Job Title: Journeyman Electrician ($46-$48 an Hour)
Job Description
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and securing solar panels on rooftops, ground mounts, or other structures using hand and power tools. You will mount racking systems, inverters, and related hardware according to design specifications, ensuring that all work meets NEC and local electrical code requirements, even when electrical work is minimal.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as connecting equipment, verifying grounding, and inspecting conduit runs.
- Conduct site assessments to ensure proper measurements, layout, and placement of solar equipment.
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe job site.
- Collaborate with installation crews, project managers, and inspectors to ensure successful project completion.
- Document work performed and assist with quality checks or inspections.
Essential Skills
- Journeyman license
- Proficiency in electrical work
- Experience with solar installations
