Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong experience in heavy equipment design, systems integration, and system development involving both mechanical and electrical aspects. This candidate will work a hybrid schedule out of the Duncan, Oklahoma facility. The ideal candidate will excel in multidisciplinary teamwork and have experience in electromechanical systems. A proficiency in working with larger motors and drives is advantageous, along with a solid foundation in component selection and specification. Familiarity with fluid systems, including low-pressure pumping and mixing systems, is essential. Experience with centrifugal pumps, chemical metering pumps, and real-time mixing of multiple components is preferred. A basic understanding of control systems and technical documentation skills is required.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop heavy equipment systems integrating mechanical and electrical components.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create cohesive systems.
  • Select and specify components for various engineering projects.
  • Engage in fluid systems design, including low-pressure pumping and mixing systems.
  • Utilize centrifugal and chemical metering pumps for effective fluid mixing.
  • Apply engineering standards in the creation of technical documentation, including manuals and drawings.
  • Conduct stress and strain calculations within trailer frames and validate using CAE tools like ANSYS.
  • Understand and implement DOT regulations in engineering designs.

Essential Skills

  • Strong technical understanding of component selection and system integration.
  • Experience with electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and drawing creation.
  • Understanding of control systems logic and application.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in well servicing, heavy equipment, or off-highway equipment design.
  • Experience with bulk material conveyors and process piping.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of high-strength steels used in trailer chassis and skid frames.

Work Environment

The work environment offers a mix of onsite and remote work, with engineers expected to be onsite at least three days per week, adjusting as business needs dictate. The facility is in Duncan, OK.
