Job Description

Join one of the largest distributors of plumbing supplies, where you will perform a variety of tasks in a 318,000 sq ft distribution center. You will be responsible for preparing and staging pallets of products for shipment, picking orders, verifying and validating orders before shipment, and conducting inventory counts. The role requires flexibility to cross-train across different areas within the distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage pallets of product for shipments.
• Pick orders accurately and efficiently.
• Verify and validate orders prior to shipment.
• Conduct scanning and inventory counts.
• Cross-train around the distribution center on various tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations including scanning and shipping.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with industrial equipment such as EPJ, sit down, stand up, and order picker.
• Experience working in large distribution centers.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience with labeling, shrink wrapping, inventory, electric pallet jack, sit down forklift, shipping and receiving, forklift, and cherry picker.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled distribution center that is busy and fast-paced. Shifts run Monday through Friday with no weekends required. Choose from the receiving shift (5 a.m. to 2 p.m.), shipping shift (11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.), or closing shift (2 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.). Equipment experience is preferred for certain shifts but not mandatory.

This is a Contract position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
