Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture products for the oil and gas, aerospace, and general industrial manufacturing sectors. This role involves using devices to perforate oil and gas wells in preparation for production.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including mills and lathes.
  • Manufacture products for various industries such as oil and gas, aerospace, and general industrial manufacturing.
  • Utilize blueprints and programming languages to ensure accurate machining.
  • Perform machine setup and programming using G code, Fanuc, and Haas systems.
  • Use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers to verify product specifications.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience as a CNC machinist or completion of relevant education/training.
  • Proficiency in CNC mill and lathe operations.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and G code.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of machining experience preferred for mid-level roles.
  • 5+ years of experience and program editing expertise for upper level roles
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Haas programming systems.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of Monday to Friday shifts, with the first shift running from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and the second shift from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Opportunities for overtime are available through early starts, late finishes, and Saturday work. The facility is fully climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
