We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Procedure Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care activities to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and high-quality care in accordance with HHS standards.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care activities in accordance with HHS standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for patients served on the assigned unit.
- Administer and manage contrast media injections, understanding their reactions.
- Interpret data reflective of the patient's status to identify age-specific requirements.
- Develop, modify, and implement patient care plans according to HHS standards and Patient Care policies.
- Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act's rules and regulations.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and assist with departmental operations.
- Be available for 24-hour call back with a 30-minute response time.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Oklahoma Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in radiology, special procedures, x-ray, operating room, and surgical medical environments
- Experience in post-operative patient care
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
You will work in a full-service 180-bed hospital that offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. The hospital is nationally recognized for patient safety. The position involves Monday through Friday, eight-hour shifts, with rotating call during the week and weekends. Candidates must be available for a 24-hour call back with a 30-minute response time.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
