Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts. You will read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models while editing and troubleshooting G-code programs for efficient machining.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
  • Edit and troubleshoot G-code programs for efficient machining.
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain part quality.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes as required by specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with both mill and lathe operations is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is located in a climate-controlled shop. The shop is open from 6am to 5pm, allowing for a flexible schedule as long as an 8-hour shift is maintained.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
