Job Description
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for metal fabrication and machine operation, primarily focusing on creating sheet metal components for marine-grade electrical enclosures. This role involves operating brake press, CNC cutting/forming equipment, and punch press machinery, while ensuring all production is accurate and meets the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate brake press, CNC cutting/forming equipment, and punch press machinery to fabricate sheet metal components.
- Set up, adjust, and maintain fabrication equipment for accurate and repeatable production.
- Perform bending, punching, forming, cutting, and deburring operations according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect raw materials and finished parts to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances and DoD quality standards.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and technical interpretation.
- Experience with hand and power tools, including punch press, press brake, and drill press.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, fabrication prints, and work instructions.
- Understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and material specifications including aluminum, stainless steel, and coated steels.
- Machine drill press experience is a qualifier.
- Familiarity with DoD manufacturing protocols, including controlled materials handling and traceability requirements.
- Ability to identify potential design or manufacturability issues and communicate feedback to engineering.
- Experience in ensuring quality and compliance with military, maritime, and internal quality standards.

Work Environment
The work schedule is from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 3:30pm, and every other Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. The position involves working with various hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting, focusing on precision and quality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
