Join our team of skilled structural welders where your expertise in Mig and Flux welding will be put to use. You'll be responsible for reading blueprints, tape measures, setting ampage/voltage on welding machines, and grinding welds. The role requires proficiency in welding in the 3G (vertical) position.
Responsibilities- Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
- Align components using calipers and rulers, then clamp pieces.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, or overhead.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Proficiency in Mig and Flux welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
- Knowledge of setting ampage/voltage on welding machines.
- Experience in grinding welds.
- Capability to weld in 3G (vertical) position.
- At least 6 months experience in a structural welding shop.
- Experience with fabrication.
- Production skills.
- Ability to pass a 3G Mig weld test - 3/8 Plate on Carbon.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
