Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
About the Role
A growing manufacturing organization in Cornelius, Oregon is seeking a Buyer Analyst to lead purchasing and sourcing activities in a fast‑paced production environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials and services are procured on time, at the right cost, and at the required quality to support manufacturing and customer commitments.
The ideal candidate brings strong supplier management experience, a data‑driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance to support operational goals.
What You’ll Do
Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and indirect supplies
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with production needs and business growth
- Ensure material availability supports production schedules and delivery commitments
- Manage purchase orders and procurement activity within ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to meet cost, quality, and capacity requirements
- Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance (on‑time delivery, quality, responsiveness)
- Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, terms, and long‑term agreements
Cost Control & Financial Alignment
- Drive cost‑reduction initiatives without sacrificing quality or delivery
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis
- Support margin improvement through strategic sourcing decisions
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering on new product introductions and component sourcing
- Partner with Quality to ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Collaborate with Production and Planning to manage workflow, scheduling, and bottlenecks
- Support Sales and Customer Service with lead‑time and availability communication
Inventory & Planning
- Optimize inventory levels to balance material availability and working capital
- Support forecasting and demand planning efforts
- Help reduce excess, obsolete, and slow‑moving inventory
Process Improvement & Systems
- Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes and workflows
- Ensure data accuracy and strong ERP utilization
- Develop and maintain procurement documentation, policies, and procedures
- Support ERP enhancements and reporting improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Strong understanding of inventory management, MRP, and production planning
- ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics Business Central strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Health Benefits Full‐time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance on the first of the month following 60 days from hire date. 401(K) Retirement Plan a. The Company will match 100% of an employee’s contribution up to 3% of their annual salary; as well as an additional 50% match for any contribution between 3% and 5%. b.
