Production Operator

Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a local parts cleaning company, focusing on general production. Your role will involve processing, cleaning, and inspecting parts and assemblies from high-tech semiconductor manufacturing. Initially, you'll work from Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm, transitioning to a front or back half shift, Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday, 6 am - 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Process, clean, and inspect parts and assemblies in a controlled cleanroom environment.
• Disassemble, clean/refurbish, reassemble, perform final clean, and prepare parts.
• Maintain the highest safety and quality standards while focusing on customer needs and company values.
• Practice inventory management to ensure proper stocking levels.
• Receive, inspect, process, package, and transport parts and components.
• Use and maintain processing equipment, including media blasters, solvent benches, ultrasonic tanks, and ovens.
• Utilize various cleaning techniques, including mechanical and chemical cleaning equipment.
• Daily use of safety equipment, such as hearing protection, safety glasses, chemical-resistant aprons, and gloves.
• Handle potentially hazardous materials, following appropriate manufacturing and safety procedures.
• Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing appropriate garments and following micro-contamination protocols.
• Strictly adhere to all corporate, industry, and site protocols and procedures.
• Ensure work area, equipment, and tools are clean and properly maintained.
• Read and understand written work instructions and procedures, annotating each step as complete when finished.

Essential Skills

• Experience with production, hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
• Ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and chemical handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
