About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Bead Blasting Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bead blasting equipment to clean, finish, or prepare metal and other surfaces according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate bead blasting machinery and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare parts and surfaces for blasting, ensuring proper masking and handling.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on blasting equipment.
• Document work performed and report any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in bead blasting or similar surface finishing processes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to lift up to [insert weight] lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor experience.
• Experience in semiconductor industry roles.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom, shop, and warehouse environment. Initial hours are Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30 pm, transitioning to either Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday, 6am - 4:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
