Job Description
This role offers a 90-day temporary-to-hire opportunity in a pre-printing facility. The position requires flexibility with shift availability, primarily operating during swing shifts, with occasional coverage on alternative shifts. Candidates will receive at least one week's notice before any shift changes, ensuring a smooth transition into new schedules.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties in a pre-printing facility.
- Mix and pour inks for printing operations.
- Execute assigned passover tasks.
- Load and operate printing machines efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on prints and ink colors.
- Maintain general shop cleanliness and organization.
- Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure high attention to detail in all tasks.
- Production experience is essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
- Capability to meet physical requirements, including lifting.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Experience with paper, ink, corrugated, or cardboard is advantageous.
- Quality inspection skills.
- Proficiency in computer usage and data entry.
- Successful backgrounds in production, warehousing, general labor, or auto mechanics.
- Ability to read and write in English.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and organized, featuring large printing presses that can reach 30-40 feet in height. Candidates should not have a fear of heights. During summer months, the facility can become quite warm, and candidates should be prepared for a work setting where getting dirty, such as ink spills, is possible.

This is a Contract position based out of Hillsboro, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.34 - $22.34/hr.
