- Hands-on experience with general metal fabrication processes and equipment.
- Competence in fitting, fabrication, and welding using TIG, MIG, and flux core processes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.
- Experience working in a custom metal fabrication environment.

- Comfort working with mild steel and stainless steel in various thicknesses.
- Strong problem-solving skills when fitting and fabricating complex parts.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team and communicate clearly about job requirements and progress.
You will join a close-knit, family-run shop where leadership is supportive and approachable, and where your skills and craftsmanship are genuinely valued. The team offers a collaborative, tight-knit environment with medical benefits and paid time off accrual to support your well-being. You will enjoy some flexibility in scheduling based on production needs, allowing a better balance between work and life while contributing to interesting, varied fabrication projects.
Work Environment
The role is based in a custom metal fabrication shop that handles both large-scale and small, one-off custom jobs. The shop is relatively small, with approximately 15–20 employees, fostering a family-oriented, team-focused atmosphere. You will work primarily on a day shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Fridays and Saturdays depending on production demands. The environment centers around hands-on fabrication and welding using TIG, MIG, and flux core processes on stainless steel and mild steel components.
