An Electronics Supplier in Milwaukie, OR is hiring an IT Support Technician - Tier II to join the team for a great opportunity!


Job Duties:

  • Provide Tier II support for approximately 130 end users across hardware, software, and network systems
  • Install, configure, maintain, and monitor company PCs, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Support new employee onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning and decommissioning of hardware and accounts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Windows environments, including application support and password resets
  • Perform PC refreshes and Windows 11 upgrades across the organization
  • Support and maintain PBX systems, telephony, and video conferencing equipment
  • Manage and support network connectivity, including LAN/WLAN troubleshooting
  • Provide printer support and maintenance for various hardware brands
  • Order, track, and manage inventory for PCs, monitors, and peripherals
  • Perform secure data destruction for approximately 600 hard drives using DOD-compliant methods

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft/Windows workstation operating systems
  • Knowledge of standard office applications, especially Office 365
  • Experienced with user profile migration (PC Refresh) on Windows PCs
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in the field of Information Technology or related area
  • Windows 11 and Active Directory experience
  • Knowledge of applications programming & database administration
