Position Overview
The Concrete Foreman oversees day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate crews, equipment, and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise concrete crews on commercial, industrial, and civil projects
- Coordinate daily tasks, schedules, and manpower needs
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Oversee layout, forming, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Track progress, materials, and crew performance
- Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical solutions
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a foreman or supervisory role within concrete construction
- 5+ years of hands-on concrete experience, including forming, pouring, and finishing
- Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, tools, and equipment
- Ability to lead crews and maintain productivity on active job sites
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read plans and perform layout
