Job Description

As an Inventory Control Associate, you will assist in maintaining accurate inventory records using inventory management software. Your role involves performing regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. You will coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inbound and outbound inventory transactions and investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Additionally, you will generate reports and provide analysis on inventory levels and trends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
• Perform regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for inventory transactions.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory levels and trends.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in a cold storage distribution facility, specifically in a cooler/freezer environment. Candidates must be open to and have experience in cold storage facilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
