General Laborer

Join our team at a large data center construction site in The Dalles, where you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. You will be responsible for cleaning activities including wiping down server racks, sweeping, mopping, and dusting the facility. This is a physically demanding role, requiring you to be on your feet for 8 to 10 hours a day, with some work at heights between 6 to 8 feet. Steel toe boots are mandatory.

• Wipe down server racks and clean facility surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and dust areas within the data center.
• Work on your feet for 8 to 10 hours daily.
• Perform tasks at heights of 6-8 feet when necessary.
• Participate in new hire orientations on the first day.
• Arrive punctually at 5:45am for the orientation.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
• No formal education required.
• Basic understanding of janitorial and sanitation practices.

• Experience in janitorial or sanitation roles is beneficial.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment like buffers is advantageous.

This position offers a long-term opportunity with potential for direct hire based on performance. The company has over 18 months of ongoing projects in the area and specializes in maintaining and cleaning a variety of controlled environments, ensuring reduced downtime and enhanced customer satisfaction. You will be part of a team known for its excellence since 1979 in environments ranging from cleanrooms to data centers.

You will work primarily in IT facilities and clean room environments. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm, with some overtime required. The company culture emphasizes productivity and customer satisfaction, creating a supportive environment for its employees.

This is a Contract position based out of The Dalles, OR.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
