Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team and operate production and test equipment. The role requires monitoring and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate production records and equipment operation records while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Operate production and test equipment efficiently.
- Monitor production areas and recommend improvements as needed.
- Comply with company and area safety policies and practices.
- Maintain accurate records of production and equipment operation.
- Perform tests and measurements on parts to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure product quality standards are met.
- Assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, supplies, and parts.
- Conduct daily inspections of production equipment.
- Support and foster active participation in corporate values and comply with management systems.
- Handle hazardous materials and samples safely.
- Ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and gas cylinders.
- Operate basic hand and power tools.
Essential Skills
- Experience in machine operation, injection molding, assembly, and stamping.
- Experience in production or relevant skills.
- Familiarity with quality control processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine operating issues.
- Proficiency in using computers and touch screen devices.
- Understanding of the metric system.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- General labor skills.
- Experience in a production line environment.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean and automated production facility. The stamping and molding areas offer more independent work, whereas plating and assembly are more team-focused.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.17 - $20.17/hr.
