Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician for our client's location in Wilsonville, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a geotechnical engineering or materials testing environment. Candidates with college lab experience will also be considered. Experience with physical lab testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical laboratory and Construction Materials Testing services.
• Enter reports and data gathered from tests and procedures.
• Conduct soil density testing and concrete testing.
• Assist with Quality Management System implementation and third-party accreditations.
• Handle laboratory equipment, including calibrations and maintenance tracking.
• Perform physical laboratory testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt following DOT procedures.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of ASTM standards and physical testing procedures.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a lab environment.
• Experience with soil density, concrete, and asphalt testing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data entry.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of lab experience or demonstrated exposure to lab procedures in college.
• ACI/NICET/DOT Certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Proof of a clean driving record.
• Neat appearance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform moderate lifting as part of daily job functions.
