Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
This role involves operating various machine shop equipment under the supervision of the Shop Manager, including automated saws, cutters, robotic welders, and other shop tools. Responsibilities also encompass fabrication, grinding, and other production activities like cleaning and maintaining equipment on the shop floor. Additional duties include assisting the shipping department with forklift operations and crate building.
Responsibilities
- Operate various machine shop equipment such as automated saws, cutters, and robotic welders.
- Perform fabrication and grinding tasks.
- Clean and maintain shop floor equipment.
- Assist in the shipping department with forklift operations and crate building.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical inclination
- Proficiency with tape measures and hand tools
- Experience in industrial manufacturing
- 1-3 years of machine operating or fabrication experience
- Understanding of mechanical aptitude
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with calipers and micrometers
- Knowledge of blueprint reading
- Forklift operation skills

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
