Job Description
Join a growing precision manufacturing company and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and customer interactions. This role offers a defined path into inside sales and broader manufacturing management.
Responsibilities
- Convert and enter customer, product, and pricing data from Excel spreadsheets into the JobBOSS ERP system.
- Accurately enter and maintain customer quotes and sales orders.
- Assist with purchase order entry and tracking.
- Maintain data accuracy and system integrity.
- Provide administrative support to operations and sales teams.
- Communicate with customers to clarify order details or provide basic updates.
- After six months, support inside sales activities, including quoting and order management.
- Increase direct customer interaction.
- Learn manufacturing workflows, scheduling, and production coordination.
- Develop towards future growth in inside sales, operations, or manufacturing management.
- Strong data entry and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn and work within ERP systems (JobBOSS experience is a plus).
- Basic customer service and professional communication skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.
This role is set in an office environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM. The dress code is business casual.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
