The position emphasizes strong 3D visualization, precise documentation, and close collaboration with design, manufacturing, and project management teams.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed mechanical and architectural drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit, with SolidWorks considered where appropriate.
- Develop and modify 3D models to support the design of prefabricated exterior building facades using light gauge steel.
- Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications and design intent.

- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings accurately.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail in all drafting and documentation tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written directions clearly and consistently.
- Strong 3D visualization skills and an understanding of how systems and layers work together in building facades.
- Proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD, particularly for creating files suitable for CNC router use.
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent drafting experience in architectural or structural design.
- Experience with mechanical drafting in an environment that blends architectural and structural elements.
- Familiarity with design, 3D modeling, and coordination across multiple project stakeholders.
- Interest in working with prefabricated exterior wall systems using light gauge steel and various facade materials such as brick, metal, stone, and stucco-like finishes.
- Motivation to contribute to a growing organization with strong project and growth projections.
