Job Description
For this position you will be tasked with maintaining the hardware infrastructure of the latest cloud computing server technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly and accurately resolve issues with server and network hardware through root cause analysis with a solid understanding of computers servers network devices and command line diagnostics.

1) Hardware Troubleshooting & Repair:
- The primary job of a DCO technician involves "break fix" duties on servers with hardware or firmware issues. This requires the ability to diagnose problems and replace components like motherboards, CPU’s, PSU’s, NIC’s, test fiber optic cables, and perform systematic isolation testing to determine points of failure.
2) Safety & Compliance Procedures: ha
- Data center technicians must work with power tools, handle components with sharp edges, and operate in environments that require proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Understanding and following safety protocols, media handling procedures (for customer data), and emergency response procedures is a fundamental requirement.
3) Network Knowledge
- Understanding networking fundamentals is critical as technicians work with Top of Rack (TOR) switches, network equipment, and must respond to network-related emergencies like rack downs (when hosts lose network connectivity). Experience with networking or Linux operating systems is great!
