We are seeking a skilled Electrician Mechanic to install service equipment on trucks, including salt spreaders and lights. This role requires expertise in electrical systems and hands-on installation work.
Responsibilities- Install service equipment on trucks, such as plows, dump systems, and salt spreaders.
- Perform Mig welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Work with 12V DC electrical systems, including wiring and schematic reading.
- Utilize hand and power tools efficiently for installations.
- Handle hydraulic systems and conduit installations.
- Proficiency in Mig welding and fabrication.
- Experience with 12V DC electrical systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and related systems.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics.
- At least 2 years of experience in welding, fabrication, hydraulics, or 12V DC systems.
- Experience with wiring and electronics for heavy vehicles.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves installing equipment such as plows, salt spreaders, and lights onto trucks for various townships and road departments. The shop currently employs six individuals, with three in management and three as technicians. Our team-oriented environment fosters collaboration and technical excellence.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
