Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Description
The Staff Accountant will manage bank reconciliations, record journal entries, and analyze financial statements. Additionally, the role involves issuing certificates of insurance and tax exemption certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations accurately and timely.
- Record journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
- Analyze financial statements and provide insights on financial performance.
- Issue certificates of insurance and tax exemption certifications as required.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in reconciliations and journal entries.
- Ability to analyze financial statements effectively.
- Proficiency in creating pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFs.
- Experience with large scale ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAGE, Infor, or NetSuite.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience recording journal entries.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required for permanent roles. Candidates without a degree may be considered for temporary roles.
Work Environment
The position is initially onsite during the contract assignment. Once converted to a permanent role, it offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The company fosters a great culture with team events and prides itself on a supportive work atmosphere.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
