Mechanical Drafter / Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer
Job Description:
- Generate, modify, and organize general arrangement and physical outline drawings using the latest AutoCAD tools
- Support customer approvals and manufacturing by delivering accurate, on-time drawing packages
- Perform CAD file conversions as needed
- Create 3D models using ProEngineer (Creo) for customer-specific circuit breakers
- Review mechanical and electrical drawings for technical accuracy and clarity
- Prepare approval and as-built drawing packages, CT curves, and test reports for customer submittals
- Maintain and manage all engineering drawings in the EDMATS document management system
- Prepare device tag files to support procurement and planning teams
What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for recent graduates, early-career engineers, or experienced drafters who want exposure to real engineering projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with mechanical CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or ProEngineer (Creo)
- At least 1 year of CAD-based drafting or design experience (internships and co-ops welcome!)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Mechanical Design, or 3D Modeling
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleroi, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
