We are seeking a skilled First Shift Welder/Fitter with experience in Flux Core and Mig welding. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to tack weld and perform repair welding, as well as read and interpret welding blueprints and diagrams. You will be responsible for laying out, fitting, and welding metal components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels.
Responsibilities- Perform Flux Core and Mig welding, including tack welding and repair welding.
- Read and interpret weld blueprints and diagrams accurately.
- Execute layout and fitting together of weldments.
- Assemble metal components using blueprints to create structural forms.
- Fit and fabricate parts by reading off blueprints.
- Proficiency in Flux Core and Mig welding.
- Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and diagrams.
- Experience in layout and fitting of metal components.
- Experience with Stick welding and Flux Core Welding.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience in welding layout and fitting.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a heavy industrial setting with a clean shop. The team works on a variety of projects, including burners and boiler tubes, providing a dynamic and engaging work experience.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charleroi, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
