Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description
This direct placement role seeks experienced Maintenance Technicians to support an industrial facility by performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery and mechanical equipment. You will work on gears, belts, conveyor systems, and industrial paper machines, ensuring reliable operation and minimal downtime across multiple shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, including gears, belts, conveyor systems, and industrial paper machines.
- Complete routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Locate sources of mechanical problems by observing equipment in operation, listening for irregular sounds, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair methods to restore equipment to proper working condition.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and by carefully examining the form and texture of parts.
Essential Skills
- At least 5+ years of experience working in an industrial maintenance technician role.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
- Strong experience in preventive and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, including gears and belts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in an industrial building or manufacturing environment.
- Comfort working across different shifts as needed, including day, evening, and night shifts.
- Attention to detail when inspecting parts and components for wear, damage, or dimensional changes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $68640.00/yr.
