Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
This position involves applying paint with a hand-held spray gun, assembling and disassembling product lines, and contributing to the production of superior cabinet parts. No prior experience in hand spraying materials is required as comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Apply paint using a hand-held spray gun for cabinet parts.
- Assemble and disassemble product lines as needed.
- Hand scuff and hand sand cabinet parts to meet quality standards.
- Measure quantities of ingredients to create stain or paint colors matching customer orders.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, safety glasses, gloves, arm sleeves, and face shields when required.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Skills
- Basic math skills are necessary.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Competence in using measurement devices.
- Experience doing wood working assembly, sanding, and routing is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating power tools and hand finishing equipment.
- Experience with paints, stains, or similar materials is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Steady hand for repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable with standing for long periods.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
