Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Terminal Operator to join our team. This role involves multiple responsibilities including handling silica material, packaging, and general facility operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our terminal processes.

Responsibilities

• Attach a large bag to a chute to catch silica material, operating a lever to control the volume so that it matches the order.
• Lift 50lb bags from a table waist high and stack them on a pallet. Bags are produced every 30 seconds.
• Seal and scan labels onto filled bags of material.
• Drive a forklift after one month of contract-based training.
• Drive trucks within the facility after training, not on public roads.
• Perform general cleanup of workstations.

Essential Skills

• General labor skills including the use of hand tools.
• Experience in packing, packaging, loading, and unloading.
• Ability to consistently lift 50lb.
• Capability to get respirator fit.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction and oil and gas industries is beneficial.
• Forklift operation training will be provided after one month.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift from 6am-6pm along with 6pm-6am, with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. The average workweek ranges from 5 to 7 days. Flexibility to work any shift is necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eighty Four, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
