Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will serve as a technical subject matter expert for the company's equipment portfolio, providing frontline troubleshooting support to field service representatives and overseeing all equipment replacement and overhaul projects. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for the company's equipment portfolio.
- Offer frontline troubleshooting support to field service representatives.
- Oversee all equipment replacement and overhaul projects.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless operation of equipment.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a field service or other hands-on role
- Proficiency in troubleshooting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
Work Environment
- This position is in an employee-focused company that offers generous benefits including 2 weeks PTO and 6 holidays during the contract period. After the probationary period, employees receive 3 weeks PTO, 6 sick days, and 12 holidays.
- Additionally, 10% of salary is automatically added to the 401k after the second full year of employment, irrespective of employee contributions.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Exton, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
