Critical Incident Specialist

Description

Overview: Responsible for managing waiver incident reporting at both member and organizational levels. This includes education, reporting, investigation, processing, and closure of incidents to ensure compliance with CHC Agreement, Administrative Code, and CMS regulations. Key Responsibilities: Validate new case eligibility and confirm event qualifies for reporting. Review historical events for trend analysis. Document investigation status and collaborate with Service Coordinators. Monitor open cases and determine readiness for closure. Ensure closure criteria are met: health and safety secured, preventative measures implemented, service plan updated. Confirm no further action needed when documentation and preventative steps are complete and participant is not at risk. Perform other duties and comply with company policies.
