Job Title: Environmental Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a dedicated Environmental Technician for the 2nd shift to join their team in Hatfield, PA. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the environmental industry with a company that has a strong commitment to safety and employee care.

Responsibilities

• Transport labeled drums of waste and detect the substances contained within each drum.
• Load and offload drums onto trucks efficiently and safely.
• Separate hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste and organize them in the warehouse.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or Chemistry, or one-year experience in a related industry.
• Strong work ethic and positive mindset.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 40 certification.
• 40 Hour Hazwoper certification is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment involves both indoor and outdoor settings, with the ability to work in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled areas.
